"The audition with Tom and Bobby was an exciting experience. There was an unspoken understanding almost immediately on how we thought the character should be portrayed. Thankfully with the addition of Bobby's sensitive insight and Tom's clear yet thoughtful approach, there was space to allow the characters to breathe, and that space paid dividends when it came to playing out Ben's journey. The cast each came well prepared with a dedication to the sensitivity required, and it was a privilege to work with each of them and also the crew. Their work is honestly astounding"

“The locations in the North Pennines were gorgeous and I actually loved the long drives between them (except when I was soaked in fake blood, it was STICKY). It was also freezing but you know you’re having a good time when it doesn’t bother you.”
